We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses with Theatre experience. Our focus is on connecting skilled professionals with dynamic healthcare environments where they can thrive and make a difference.
As a Registered Nurse working in Theatre, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, including preoperative assessments and postoperative monitoring.
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge in theatre nursing.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Zealand.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a theatre or surgical setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
