Your new organisation

You'll be joining a well-reputed Kiwi organisation who top the ranks in terms of service and company culture. Having attained steady growth for the last 5 years, they are now keen to take this one step further as we head into 2025.

Your new role

You will be working closely with the CEO and his executive team in developing strategic business plans in collaboration with the board. This varied and interesting role is likely to develop and shift over time however your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• To build and maintain a high performing nation-wide finance team with 6 direct reports
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and overall financial compliance
• Risk management and mitigation
• Prepare and present board reports adding interest and insights
• Develop and implement the organisation's long term financial strategy
• Identify and explore potential M&A opportunities across ANZ

The successful candidate

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold a relevant tertiary qualification (i.e. CA, CPA, ACCA etc.) You will also have a minimum of 10 years' experience post qualification, ideally in a blue collar industry. You'll be a confident communicator with the natural affinity for turning numbers into a story. You'll be a true team player who both influences and motivates those around them with out-the-box thinking and above all else, you will be someone who doesn't shy away from a challenge!
