Are you an experienced Sales Manager ready to redefine Sea Logistics sales? This rare opportunity involves leading a team of seven Sea Logistics Business Development Managers spread across multiple locations.

About the role

In this Sales Manager role, you will leverage your proven success in growing sales and margins. You will think laterally and strategically, relate and sell to all levels, and prepare and present business plans reflecting growth strategies. Your primary focus will be on guiding, mentoring, motivating, and supporting a team of Business Development Managers while also building your own portfolio. You'll support your team in generating and converting leads, building client relationships, and exceeding sales targets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Development Managers to achieve targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to exceed annual revenue and sales targets, improving overall team performance.
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and cold calling.
  • Align sales efforts with Customer Care and Pricing teams, including involvement in pricing decisions and the implementation of new customers.
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations on Kuehne+Nagel products and services.
  • Focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the Customer Care Team.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive data management by your team in the KN CRM.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need an in-depth understanding of international freight processes, specifically in Sea Logistics. You will have experience in developing, mentoring, and cultivating a high-performing team to deliver results and have a proven track record in solutions sales with proven success in gaining new business and growing margins.

You will also have:

  • The ability to lead, drive, and motivate a nationwide team.
  • The ability to quickly gain credibility with a range of different people.
