The organisation
You'll be working for a newly formed Trust that acts on behalf a collection group of companies within the areas of education, health, housing and community development. This not-for-profit entity are embarking on an exciting growth journey and are hence seeking an open-minded and knowledgeable Lead Advisor to support them throughout.
Key responsibilities
In this varied and interesting role, you'll be working in close cohesion with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees and will ultimately be responsible for developing and implementing the determined programme of work. In summary the role can be split into two areas of focus which are: providing trusted advice to the Executive Director and leading the rollout of the organisation's operational plans. At a more granular view, your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the development of strategic and operational projects e.g.
- Feasibility studies
- Financial modelling and statistical analysis
- Policy and impact analysis
- Business case development
- Collation and documentation of information
- Project tracking and evaluation
- Leading the implementation of agreed projects which may include long-term strategy, communications, property, sustainability, resourcing and policy development.
- Engaging with ministry boards and their Executive Leadership Team in order to identify needs and priorities.
- Developing communication tools, content and resources and coordinating the distribution of materials accordingly, i.e. website, digital newsletters etc.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures as agreed and directed.
- Encouraging and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment in which yourself and others will thrive.
Qualifications and requirements
In order to be successful in this role you will ideally hold a qualification related to management and/or project management with a strong understanding of governance and leadership in the not-for-profit or government sector. You'll be a natural people person and a strong communicator with the ability to lead and steer high level conversation. You'll have a high attention to detail and will hold experience in both report writing and reviewing.
