Industrial Electrician

Join a well-known and established company, based in Wellington, as an Industrial Electrician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our operations! This role is open to NZ-wide applicants, as the client is willing to discuss relocation Wellington.

About the Role:

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance, modifications, lighting, switchboards, and changing switchboards. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical systems
• Perform modifications and installations, including lights and switchboards
• Change and upgrade switchboards as required
• Sign off on completed work to ensure compliance and safety
• Collaborate with the team to enhance operational efficiency

Key Competencies:

• Registered electrician with the ability to sign off on work
• Hazardous areas qualification and completed training in hazardous areas
• Significant industrial experience is essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:

• Fully registered and legally entitled to work in New Zealand
