We're working with a leading company in New Zealand's construction industry, known for their exceptional projects. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and wants to make a real impact while working in a supportive and flexible environment.
*Please note this is a part-time permanent position*
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with general HR administration.
- Coordinate payroll and benefits processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Support performance management and help implement employee development initiatives.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide general HR support to employees and managers, handling queries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
About You:
- Previous experience in HR, talent acquisition and/or recruitment within the construction industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Knowledge of New Zealand employment laws is a plus, but not essential.
