We're working with a leading company in New Zealand's construction industry, known for their exceptional projects. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and wants to make a real impact while working in a supportive and flexible environment.

*Please note this is a part-time permanent position*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with general HR administration.
  • Coordinate payroll and benefits processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support performance management and help implement employee development initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide general HR support to employees and managers, handling queries and resolving issues.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth.

About You:

  • Previous experience in HR, talent acquisition and/or recruitment within the construction industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of New Zealand employment laws is a plus, but not essential.
