Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Management: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Patient Consultations: Provide personalized consultations, offering advice on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Health Promotion: Educate patients on preventive care, wellness strategies, and the importance of medication adherence to improve their overall health.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee the pharmacy's inventory, ensuring medications are stored correctly and managing stock levels to prevent shortages.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensing: Valid pharmacist license in New Zealand.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred, but we welcome new graduates with a passion for learning!
