Role Overview: As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating various physical conditions and injuries. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, employing various therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and restore functional ability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical conditions.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and manual techniques to promote recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and overall health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and integrate new techniques into patient care.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license in New Zealand.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, with expertise in Inquiry Rehab.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
