The Company:

You'll be working for a well-renown not-for-profit organisation who have a NZ wide remit and a head office based in Wellington.

The Role:

In this role you will be reporting directly into the Chief Executive and will be responsible for leading a collaborative, efficient and happy corporate services function. This role will likely develop over time however the main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Leading, developing, managing and motivating direct reports and overseeing the leadership of a large team of indirect reports within Finance, HR, Operations, Contracts, Communications
  • Providing commercial advice to the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to overall strategic direction of the organisation
  • Planning, performance tracking and analysis in relation to the organisation's overall financial performance
  • Supporting the development of the annual business plan and overseeing the annual audit process
  • Supporting with the implementation of agreed policies and procedures across the organisation
  • Identifying potential risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to the SLT accordingly
  • Oversee emergency management, H&S, fleet management, leases and contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external providers to ensure contractual obligations are consistently met

About you:

Personality is absolutely the key to success in this role and we're looking for someone who naturally brings the energy each day! You'll have a strong can-do attitude with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence, understanding when to delegate in order to grow capability within your team. You'll hold a relevant tertiary accounting and finance related qualification and it would be favourable if you've previously operated in the not-for-profit space.
