Assistant Accountant (CBD)

The role

Join a prestigious CA office team and help fulfil a variety of bookkeeping and accounts functions within their extensive established and flexible Accounting Practice

The role will be in the office for 2 days at first, possibly moving to a hybrid mix once trained, then our client will be looking at you working 2 full days, but flexible with which days

TASKS:

* Report to the firm's Accountant
* General accounts tasks
* Accounts payable processing & management
* General invoicing
* Tenant invoicing and queries
* Payroll data collection
* Trust account administration
* Trust reporting & reconciliations
* Xero maintenance and use

YOU

* Will preferably have a New Zealand tertiary Accounting qualification
* Past experience working as an Assistant Accountant
* Xero and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (tables)
* Be accustomed to working within a highly efficient and friendly team culture

NOTE

* This is a permanent 'part time' role and also will not suit a University student trying to fit this role into their scheduleuntil they graduate
* Testing via Talegent will be required as part of the screening process if shortlisted
